What is an artists / albums / tracks cloud?
The above "word cloud" is only an example - you can style your cloud with a lot of options (layout, font, colors, ...).
Cook recipe - generate a most played artists / albums / tracks cloud:
Step 1 - generate the statistic:
- enter your last.fm user name
- choose the chart type
- choose the chart period
- submit the data (button "Generate Statistic")
Result:
- a new browser window or tab opens
- your statistic data is displayed in this window
Step 2 - generate the word cloud (with Wordle™):
- surf to Wordle™ Advanced (www.wordle.net/advanced)
- copy and paste all data from the statistic page into the textbox "Wordle Avanced!"
- push the "Go" button
- style your cloud according to your demands
Hint: If you want to publish the cloud on your last.fm homepage - limit the image width to 300 pixels.
